Take a 50’ x 100’ lot and split it into two, one at the street and one tucked behind. Build detached single family homes on each of the lots.  Each home has and interior accessory 1 bedroom dwelling unit, to offset the rent, or perhaps provide housing for a relative.

The example creates two Town Homes, each with single car garages on a 50’x 100’ lot that has been divided down the middle. These are fee simple units, not condos.

Each of these units contains 3 bedrooms & 2 1/2 baths in 2116 SF of living space.  There is also a spacious single car garage.

The rear of level one is a 1 bedroom ADU.  The design allows the option of internal access to the ADU.
